My Favorite Game When I Was A Child

My favorite game when I was a child is hide and seek. It consists of number of players who hide in different spots in the house and the seeker will go search for their hidden spots. The seeker will try to find everyone and the last person who he can not find will be the winner because he chose the best hidden place. The seeker will count to ten and then start searching for players until he find everyone, the last one he find is considered the winner.I prefer board games because i am an active person who like games that i use my body in it instead of sitting at one place. The hide and seek game is still popular until today and many children around the world play it.

My Favorite Transportation

My favourite kind of transportation is car, I like to drive my car because it is convenient,comfortable and easy. The advantages of using the car are many, I can  go wherever I want at any time I want without the need to wait for a long time as I do when I use any public transportation such as bus or train. Also in the car I feel more freedom because I am the only one in the car and I don't share it with strangers and I can listen to music or use the aircondition when I feel hot or use the heater when I'm cold. In addition, I don't need to walk to the bus station or train station, I only go out to my garage and get in the car, it saves my time and effort. The disadvantages of using a car is that we depend on car and we become lazy, we don't walk or jog and this affect our health. Another disadvantage is that it cost alot of money in paying for gas or repairing the car at technician beside paying for the parking lot and the insurance every month. Last disadvantage is that you have to drive the car and be behind the wheel and take responsibility of driving, some people feel it is tiring to be cautious  and focused while driving and prefer other kind of poublic transportation such as bus or train so they do not need to drive.

Advice

When my friend visit Canada he should bring alot of jackets and coats especially for the winter season in Canada because Canada has a very cold weather in the winter, also he had better to bring with him a reasonable amount of money so he can spend on hotel,transportation and food.He should bring with him a camera to take pictures of the beautiful nature. He ought to go see an ice hockey game because it is the most popular sport in Canada. In addition, my friend had better go to art museums and see famous paintings since Canada is famous for art such as the Glenbow museum in Calgary which has more than one million artifact. He also should catch a Jazz dance troupe performance because music is very important for canadian people.He should visit the shops and resturants in Stephen Avenue walk. He had better go hiking along the douglas fir trail.

Crime & Saftey

Calgary city is generally a safe city because it does not have a large number of population also it is considered one of the modern cities that alot of tourist come to see it everywhere for its beautiful mountain view and the great nature. In a statistics made in 2005 about the murder rate, it shows that there is 2 murders per 100,000 inhabitants which is a very low percentage compared to Chicago or Baltimore. I think my city Jeddah is safer than here because the law in my country is strict in dealing with crimes and murders also Saudi Arabia does not allow the selling of alchohol or guns, therefore, the number of crimes are really low. People in Saudi Arabia are afraid to hurt others because they know that the punishment system is harsh, for example, if someone killed another person mostly he will be senteced to death unless the family of the victim forgive him. I think the safety tips to avoid crimes is to not go out late at night and to try not to walk alone, always go out with a group of people. Also do not walk in dark alleys and try to walk in a lighted street.

I have alot of sports that i like, but the most sport i like is horseback riding. i love this sport for many
 reasons.  First, i like horses since i was a child, i always see them in cartoons and in real and i had a dream of riding it until i did it when my father sign me up in a school for learning how to ride a horse.
After that my love for this sport has grown bigger. The second reason,  i love this sport is because when i ride a horse i feel that i am enjoying my time and i'm not doing a painful exercise. Third, horseback riding has taught me many things in life; it taught me to be confident and to understand animals better and to be myself. I consider the time i spent doing this sport a precious time that i wish i can do it all day. I wish oneday to have my own farm with many kinds of horses so i can play this sportt whenever i want, and to make my family love this sport as much as i do or more.

If I Won The Lottery

if i won  $10 million in the lottery first i will buy a big house for myself that has a view on the beach because i love to wake up everymorning and see the sea infront of me. Second i will buy a beautiful house for my parents because they were always dreaming of having their own house with a big yard and swimming pool. Third i will buy an enormous farm with many horses because i love horses and  horseback riding it is one of my favorite hobbies. Also iam going to buy expensive clothes, bags,jewelery from famous brands that i have been always dreaming of getting them but i couldn't because i didn't have enough money. Last i will open my own beauty salon in my city Jeddah because i love  to take care of my look and to look beautiful thats why opening a beauty salon will fulfill my dreams.

My Favorite Holiday

Christmas holiday is one of the best holidays for me , it is a wonderful time in the year because we do not have school and we celebrate the Christmas with our families and relatives. In Christmas people like to go shopping to buy gifts for their families and friends. I like to buy nice gifts for my host family. i like also to buy cards so they can have a memory of who gave them the gifts. Children love Christmas because they recieve gifts from Santa Claus , parents usually ask their children to write notes about what they want to have as a gift and put it near the window so Santa Claus can bring what they want, all children feel happy that they can ask for whatever they want. Parents prepare a chirstmas tree and they decorate it with beautiful ornaments and light it up. Families like to put presents under the tree and gather in the living room near the fireplace and every member of the family start to unwrap the presents and it considered one of the happiest moments , after that they share a dinner they usually make turkey, mashed potatoes and treats. Its a great time for family reunion especially for relatives who live far and are only able to visit in holidays. I love Christmas because it is an oppurtunity for all families, relatives and friends to get closer. After opening the gifts parents usually share stories with their children and enjoy the rest of the night talking and laughing. It is a memorable holiday that i always wait for it with excitement.
